DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM:
Many students and residents have an interest in volunteering internationally in an underserved area. Opportunities include setting up a mobile clinic in a remote village to working in a hospital, clinic and rounding with local doctors. You will gain hands on training and have direct patient contact. Others include setting up temporary clinics with only supplies we bring and also working with orphanages. You will gain exposure to working in a resource-poor setting. There are many other options, depending on the student/resident interests.
