You will need to start the immunization process if you are planning to go.  Dr. Dan Smith has volunteered to act as a travel medicine consultant for those going on the mission trip. You will need at least the following vaccines:

Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines (If you have not had them. Most health care professionals have gotten the B, but if more than 10 years or low titer you may need a booster)

Yellow fever  Vaccine

Typhoid Vaccine (I recommend the oral as you get more durable immunity. Vivotif Berna Vaccine Delayed-Release Capsules)

As needed, booster doses for tetanus-diphtheria, measles, and a one-time dose of polio vaccine for adults.

You will also need to take malarial prophylaxis, either mallarone(atorvaquone/proguanil), lariam(mefloquine), doxycyline, or (in special circumstances) primaquine, are recommended. You will need to take as instructed, before, during, and after the trip.

Take DEET insect repellent.  Consider pepto-bismol tablets or capsules with meals as a travelers diarrhea prophylactic.
